Biggest Announcements from Microsoft in E3 2019.
This year in E3 2019 lots of surprising and cool things are announced from different companies but I think Microsoft did largest/coolest announcements and had the largest showcase on any stage anywhere in E3 2019 conference, a lot of things are on the track of revealing and Microsoft got the right opportunity to announce all that stuff including new games, consoles, new technology. From 10th June there are 1000 of games in development for Xbox One, Windows Pc said Phil Spencer, From which 60 games are shown on stage at 10th in LA including 14 games from Xbox Game Studios & over 30 games are premiering on Xbox game pass. Here are some highlights from the entire show.
Project Scarlett:
Microsoft has revealed the information about the next generation of Xbox Consoles i.e. Project Scarlett which will be going to launch in 2020 along with Halo Infinite to make your holiday awesome. This new generation of consoles are different than existing ones in the following manner, Microsoft promised that this console will support up to 8K resolution, with SSD Storage and next generation GDDR6 with ray tracing and heart of next-generation console is custom designed processor leveraging the latest Zen two and Navi Technology from AMD, which will be four times more powerful than existing Xbox One X. Surprisingly first time in the history of consoles this new consoles are capable to give 120 fps. These new consoles will support all existing Xbox one games, controllers, accessories. Microsoft also plans to keep optical disc drive, will support existing generations of Xbox with backward compatibility. According to rumors, there is 2 console available in 2020, When more info is available regarding Project Scarlett, I will write more info about that.
Xbox Elite Series 2 –
Microsoft pushed an update to elite controllers, calling it as Xbox Elite Series 2, which includes major upgrades like USB-C charging with up to 40 hours of battery life plus Bluetooth support for immersive wireless experience on Xbox as well as PC, Adjustable Tension Thumbsticks, Shorter Hair Trigger Locks and much more customization options to a gamer. Now a player can switch between 3 different profiles with the default button to fall back on. Customizations can be done using the Xbox companion app. The new version also supports shorter hair trigger locks and even lets you use a “shift” option, so you can hold down one button and have it activate alternative remapped commands for any of the controller’s other buttons.
Cloud Gaming:
Microsoft also announced its cloud gaming aka. “Project Xcloud” available to the public this October. Xcloud allows users to play Xbox games on all devices like smartphones, tablets, laptops, pc, Xbox. All Xbox supported games will be available on Xcloud and I think due to this Microsoft has a greater advantage against its rival Stadia because of the availability of games on stadia is significantly lower then Xcloud. Xcloud will have two ways of streaming. New platform feature, console streaming in which Xbox one will turn personal xcloud server, so either game from a data center or game from console users will able to use hybrid gaming cloud anywhere they want.
Release Date of Cyberpunk 2077 with KEANU REEVES :
The game will be launch on 16 April 2020, CD Projekt Red brings the surprise in this game, Keanu Reeves playing a part in the game and shows up o stage during an announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 release date.
Gears 5 reveals the release date:
Gears 5 comes with the new game mode, Escape, a three-player co-op mission to infiltrate a Hive nest, plant a bio-toxin bomb, and escape with your life. There’s also a surprise cameo in Gears 5: a Terminator exoskeleton will be showing up as a playable character. We’ll get to see more of Gears 5 during a July 17 Versus multiplayer tech test featuring the Arcade mode, then Horde mode will be available for hands-on at events on August 19 before the game’s launch in September.
The Entry of Microsoft Flight Simulator:
A classic Microsoft’s flight simulator is newly redesigned and launching on PC in 2020. As the expected game gets so realistic using satellite data and Azure AI, As shown in a game trailer highly detailed aircraft, the realistic world graphics look so Awesome.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate:
For those who want to play on their Xbox or PC then the Xbox game pass ultimate is right for them, which will be going to launch along with an xbox game pass for pc on 10th June. By August this pass will offer over 100 games and costs $9.99 per month and $14.99 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Ultimate Pass will include Xbox game pass for pc, consoles, Xbox live gold. from 10th June 4 more additional games going to be part of the xbox game pass which includes, Batman: Arkham Knight, Metro Exodus, Hollow Knight, Borderlands The Handsom Collection. You can start the first month of ultimate on just 1$, Talking about pc game pass then it is in beta version, interested folks can join now.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps:
With the new gameplay footagge, Ori and the Will of the Wisps showed off which features aggressive animals in all manners like hellbent on eating Ori, giant spider covered in glow worms, bony arm bird and much more. This game will launch on 11/2/2020.
Elden Ring is Officially unveiled :
Collaboration between Game of Thrones creator George R.R Martin and Dark Souls creator FromSoftware results in the formation of a new game named Elden Rings.
Minecraft Dungeons coming next year:
The entry of all new action-adventure RPG game in Microsoft world named Minecraft Dungeons, Inspired by classic dungeon crawler. Microsoft also showed the isometric gameplay with the reveling launch of the game in 2020.
Forza Horizon 4: Lego Speed Champions
Forza Horizon 4 is getting a new expansion pack on June 13 named Lego Speed Champions. World famous Danish toy, making its entry in Horizon universe. Including new races and challenges, room for destruction. You can pre-order this game on Xbox one and pc.
